Inauguration of NSD 2025The institute formally initiated the activities of National Sports Day 2025 on 29/08/2025 by paying tribute to MAJOR DHYAN CHAND in Manthan Room, Administrative Block, GKCIET Malda. Our Director In-charge Prof. Kshirod Kumar Dash and Registrar Sri. Umesh Chandra Prasad graced the occasion. All the Faculty, Staff and Students were gathered to witness the event. After the welcome address by Dr. M. Mohan Jagadeesh Kumar (Dean SW) all gathered in the hall paid tribute to Major Dhyan Chand. After that everybody took a pledge on National Sports Day. The event concluded with NATIONAL ANTHEM.Chess CompetitionAfter formal inauguration of the NSD 2025, a chess competition was conducted in R.No. B112, APJ Abdul Kalam Block on 29/08/2025 from 5:30 pm. A total 19 teams participated in the competition. The preliminary rounds were completed on 29/08/2025 and final round of competition was conducted on 30/08/2025.
