GKCIET Malda celebrated 79th Independence Day on 15-08-2025, which started with the flag hoisting by Prof. Siby John, Honourable Director, GKCIET at the Administrative Block, Chanakya. The NCC cadets conducted a parade along with the security officer and his team. Prof. Siby John addressed the gathering by his motivational speech. The students of the institute organized a cultural program at the Ramanujan Block. The event was concluded with the National Anthem.
