About the Laboratory


Surveying is one of the basic core subjects in Civil Engineering. Students in this lab have a hands-on experience working with chain, compass, theodolite, plane table, Total Station and Auto-Level — learn to take readings with these instruments and produce maps. The laboratory is equipped enough to fulfill the curricular needs of the students. In addition to the already existing equipments, the Department has already indented Transit Vernier Theodolites, Auto-Levels and Total Stations and their delivery is scheduled by March 2020.
